Hundreds of demonstrators massed outside the Australian High Commission today to protest against criticism of opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim's sodomy trial.

Where's the water cannon? Where's the FRU? Why is this double standard practiced? Why was a permit even given for these kind of demonstrations?

This (sandiwara) Malay drama is for local consumption only.
Australia could care less what KJ and his bunch of think about this matter.
Anyway, how come this demo was allowed to take place
Malaysia obviously has devilishly devious double standards, UMNO it seems is a law unto itseslf.
Power to the People, vote out all these UNMO and BN fools!

@Chris: Was a permit even obtained in the first place? Or were they protesting without a permit and the police and FRU didn't even bothered to safeguard their heads? Now I agree that that's double standard!

@Anon: I just hope that the local population won't get fooled by these pointless protests... so that they can vote wisely in the next GE.
